2/5/24 – This is a commercial Colt Government Model 1911 from the Great War era, and perhaps the finest we’ve offered.Made in late 1916 or early 1917, the pistol has 98% of its original, lustrous Colt bluing remaining.There’s a small spot of finish loss on the mainspring housing, and a light “takedown” scratch on the left side of the frame.The gun is otherwise immaculate with a mint bore.The grips are as nice as the rest of the gun.Unmarked, blued magazine.
