This M49 cartridge is military surplus from the Yugoslav National Army. It features a 198 grain full metal jacket, making its non-expanding terminal performance more suited for the range than the field. This round has a new brass shell casing, although as Eastern European military surplus it has got the Berdan primer which makes reloading a hassle. This round’s corrosive primer is sealed so that it can better weather long-term storage and the great outdoors.
We have loaded 37 boxes of this ammo into a good quality ammo can. If the can has got any damage it is solely cosmetic, and you can count on its ability to keep its contents safe from contaminants such as humidity, dust, and what have you.
