You can use it as a ‘stop’ for the base of your hand when you hold the knife. But also to put your index finger through when you hold it upside down.

Blade made of D2 steel

It is tough, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness very well. Do take care around moisture and acids; D2 is not entirely stainless. It may discolour or even rust if not properly taken care of. Therefore, it’s important to clean and dry the blade after use, and a drop of oil every once in a while can’t hurt.

G10 handle
