You can use it as a ‘stop’ for the base of your hand when you hold the knife. But also to put your index finger through when you hold it upside down.

The blade of the Böker Plus Accomplice D2 02BO176 fixed knife, John Gray design measures 8.1 cm in length and 4 mm in thickness. The total length is 19.7 cm.

Blade made of D2 steel
The blade of the Böker Plus Accomplice D2 02BO176 fixed knife, John Gray design is made of D2. This is a tool steel that has been used for all kinds of cutting tools since World War II. It is tough, easy to sharpen and retains its sharpness very well. Do take care around moisture and acids; D2 is not entirely stainless. It may discolour or even rust if not properly taken care of. Therefore, it’s important to clean and dry the blade after use, and a drop of oil every once in a while can’t hurt.

The blade of this knife is enhanced with a ‘satin finish’. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.

G10 handle
The Böker Plus Accomplice D2 02BO176 fixed knife, John Gray design features a handle made from G10. This is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. It is very strong, offers a lot of grip and is comfortable to hold. Moreover, it is not affected by moisture and it is a very stable material. It’s an excellent choice for the handle of a fixed blade.

The Böker Plus Accomplice D2 02BO176 fixed knife, John Gray design comes with a sheath made of kydex, a sturdy plastic that will keep the steel safe. However, it is important to keep a kydex sheath clean on the inside. Rinse it regularly with water. This will prevent dirt from remaining in the sheath, which can scratch the blade.
