The Böker Plus Pocket Smatchet 01BO141M is a cool pocket knife, designed by Chuck Gedraitis. Experts recognize the name: the legendary Smatchet from the Second World War. At the time designed as a large machete for warfare in the trenches, now a compact pocket-sized knife for EDC use.
You recognize the typical handle and the pointed blade. Use it to open packaging, during DIY tasks or when enjoying a picnic. The blade is made from Japanese VG10 steel. Stainless, easy to sharpen and it retains its sharpness well. The handle is made from micarta and offers you enough grip. It offers you enough grip even in wet circumstances. The great thing about micarta is that it absorbs the greases in your hands, making it darker. As such each knife will be unique in time!
You open it quickly with one hand with the thumb disc. As such you can quickly get to work. When opened a solid linerlock locks the blade. You can also easily close it with one hand. An amazing knife for EDC use!
