The Civivi Varius C22009C-1 Black G10 Ring Handle, training knife is the trainer version of the Civivi Varius, a sleek EDC knife with a unique handle construction. In fact, the Varius is so slim that you can easily carry it in your pocket.
D2 steel blade
The full-tang blade is made from D2 steel. This is a tough type of steel that retains it sharpness well. You can easily sharpen it yourself which is great if you use it on a daily basis. However, be careful with moisture and acids: D2 is not completely stainless. Always clean the knife after use, especially when it has come into contact with acids, salt or moisture.
G10 handle
The removable handle is made from G10. G10 is a strong and light-weight material made from fibreglass and synthetic resin. The light texture feels great in hand and offers you enough grip. You get an extra set of handle scales with the knife that gives you a handle with closed handle, the same as the original knife.
