Description
The ESEE Izula is named after an aggressive ant from the Peruvian jungle. This is to emphasize that despite its size you shouldn’t underestimate this knife. The ESEE Izula is a versatile fixed knife. It will easily find a place in a bag or backpack or can be carried as a neck knife. Despite its size you can easily hold it. At the back you will find a large opening for your little finger to make sure you have an excellent grip. You could, of course, also make a paracord handle to increase the grip. And if you prefer a real handle ESEE also delivers those as an accessory. This, of course, will make the knife a little thicker.
The blade is made from 1095 carbon steel. This is strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen. It might be a little more sensitive to rust, but thanks to the high quality of the powder coating you won’t be bothered by it. It is, however, wise to keep this knife dry and possibly slightly greasy.
This Izula comes with G10 scales.
The included plastic case has, like all ESEE Knives cases, a great design. The knife is properly secured and won’t spontaneously fall out. This sheath also comes with a solid steel clip. You can attach it to the sheath to make sure you can carry it on your belt.
