The Fenix HM61R V2.0 head torch is the new-and-improved version of the Fenix HM61R. With much better performance and improved features It is now possible to select the red light without having to switch on the white light first. Double-click the button to access the three red light modes. The red light is perfect to maintain your night vision, but also as a warning signal that you are working in that location. The white light with a maximum output of 1600 lumens gives you a bright beam, illuminating a wide area. The body of the HM61R V2.0 is made of high-quality aluminium with a wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant HAIII anodised coating.
Multi-purpose HM61R V2.0
In this new design, the light is in a holder with a clip. Push the light out of the clip to use it as a flashlight! There is a built-in magnet in the back of the torch. Ideal to attach the light to something so your hands are free. Even when there’s no metal nearby, you an easily carry it in your pocket with the pocket clip.
How to use the Fenix HM61R V2.0
The head torch is enhanced with a holder that allows the light to turn 180 degrees. As such you can easily set up the desired angle. The Fenix HM61R is easy to operate with the silicone button. This switch was designed as such to make sure you can also easily use it while wearing gloves. You activate the white light by holding the switch down approx. one second. If you want red light, simply double-click the same switch. To switch between the light modes you quickly press down the switch.
White light modes for the Fenix HM61R V2.0
Turbo: 1600 lumens, burn time of approx. 2 hours
High: 600 lumens, burn time of approx. 3 hours
Medium: 150 lumens, burn time of approx. 12 hours
Low: 50 lumens, burn time of approx. 35 hours
Eco: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 300 hours
Red light modes for the Fenix HM 61R 2.0
Medium: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 80 hours
Low: 1 lumen, burn time of approx. 400 hours
Flash: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 160 hours The burn time of the highest light mode is calculated at the moment the lamp is switched on in the highest mode. After 2-3 minutes, the light automatically switches to a lower mode due to the temperature regulation.
Fenix HM61R V2.0 lock-out mode
You don’t want the light to accidentally turn on while you are on the road. To ensure it doesn’t, you can use the lock-out mode. To activate this mode the head torch needs to be turned on. Click the switch twice in a row. The light will confirm the mode by blinking twice. Now the flashlight will never burn if you don’t want it to. To deactivate this mode you once again click the switch twice. The light will immediately start in the lowest light mode.
Charging the Fenix HM61R V2.0
You can easily charge the Fenix E61R V2.0 with the magnetic charging cable. Since the cable is not plugged into the light, this charging option will last a lot longer. The Fenix HM61R V2.0 comes with a 18650 Li-Ion battery but can also be used with two CR123A batteries. Want to know how full the battery is? Once the light is off, just click the switch once and a battery indicator will immediately show the current battery voltage. This way you can quickly see the battery status.
Constant green: 100% – 85% power
Flashing green: 85% – 50% power
Constant red: 50% – 25% power
Flashing red: 25% – 1% power

Intelligent protection
If you use the turbo mode for a longer period of time the light will start to heat up. When the light reaches a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius or higher, the light will automatically drop the amount of lumen to lower the temperature. As soon as the temperature drops the light will switch back to the turbo mode.
