Description
The Fenix PD35 V3.0 Tropic Green is the updated edition of the Fenix PD35 V2.0. Now available in a beautiful green colour to match your outdoor outfit! In this new version, Fenix has added some cool upgrades. The updated version is even more versatile thanks to its increased light output of 1700 lumens and beam range of 357 metres. It is compact, but very strong, and has 5 different light modes as well as a strobe mode. This flashlight works best on a 18650 Li-ion battery (included), but also does very well on 2 CR123A batteries.
Versatility
If there is one light you can call versatile, it is the Fenix PD35 V3.0. It is small enough to easily take with you and has enough light and light modes (5) to be practical in most circumstances. For the new and improved PD35 V3.0 the lowest mode has only 5 lumens. That is enough to see in the dark and maintain your night vision.
Battery indicator
As with the PD35 2.0, the side switch is made of metal, making it wear-resistant. In addition, the switch will tell you more about the charging mode of the battery. Every time you turn the light on the battery indicator will give you the current status of the 18650 batteries. Constant green light = fully charged, flashing green light = sufficient, constant red light = almost empty and flashing red light = crucial. This function only works with a rechargeable 18650 battery.
Prevent a too deeply discharged battery
Are you not using your flashlight for a while? Always make sure to unscrew the tail cap a little bit. This prevents your battery from becoming too deeply discharged. Even when the light is off, it still draws some power from the battery. A battery that is too deeply discharged often cannot be recharged. That would be a shame!
Do you have a torch with built-in battery where you cannot remove the battery? Make sure to charge the light at least once every 3-4 months, even when not in use. This also prevents the battery from discharging too deeply, and it is good for the lifespan of your battery!

Eco: 5 lumens, burn time of approx. 230 hours
Low: 50 lumens, burn time of approx. 26 hours and 25 minutes
Mid: 150 lumens, burn time of approx. 8 hours and 30 minutes
High: 600 lumens, burn time of approx. 2 hours and 35 minutes
Turbo: 1700 lumens, burn time of approx. 1 hour and 25 minutes
Strobe: 1700 lumens
Please note: the light switches to a lower mode after approx. 5 minutes to prevent it from overheating.
