: FN M249S Para Rifle, 5.56mm 16.1″ Barrel, FDE. The newest addition to the Military Collector Series – the FN M249S PARA is an expertly crafted civilian rifle version of the M249 SAW chambered in 5.56x45mm. Functioning in semi-automatic only, this rifle accepts either standard AR magazines or linked cartridges. The steel receiver, grip, carry handle and handguard is finished in Flat Dark Earth. The M249S PARA boasts a cold hammer-forged 16.1″ chrome-lined barrel, a front bipod and a collapsible/rotating PARA-style stock. Versatile, reliable and made with mil-spec tolerances, this rifle is a very durable and capable addition to any collector’s arsenal.

FN M249S PARAThe PARA was designed for airborne, armored infantry and close quarters combat (CQC) operations with a shorter barrel and collapsible buttstock. It retains all of the features of the FN M249 SAW and can be field-converted back to the standard model configuration in just 30 seconds.
