Description
The Gränsfors Bruk Sharpening Stone 4034, axe sharpening stone is composed of ceramic abrasives with both a coarse and a fine side. The coarse side of 180 grit is meant to repair the worst of the damage, or to start off the sharpening process on a very dull edge. The fine side of 600 grit will make your axe sharp again, and it can also be used to maintain this sharpness.
The fine side is thicker than the course side, as this is the side you’ll use most often. For best results and the least amount of wear of your stone, use the sharpening stone with water. In emergencies, however, you can use the stone without water too. The sharpening stone has a rubber casing for safe storage and transport.
