Description
The Nitecore MT06MC is a compact flashlight, specifically designed for medical personnel. It is optimised for monitoring pupil dilation and detecting further injuries.
The Nitecore MT06MD has a Nichia 219B LED, which has a CRI value of 90. This means it has very good, realistic colour rendering. Not the blue haze you usually get from regular LED light, but a neutral light beam that resembles sunlight in terms of colour temperature. The Nichia 219B LED is also RG0 certified, which means the light is not harmful to the retina(“blue light hazard”).
The Nitecore MT06MD is super easy to use. It has a push button on the back, just like a pen. Just press it in halfway to switch to the next light mode. On its highest light mode of 180 lumens, it is of course much too bright for determining pupil dilation. That’s why the Nitecore MT06MD always starts up on the lowest setting.
The Nitecore MT06MD is powered by two AAA batteries (not included). You can use either alkaline or rechargeable NiMH batteries. The clip allows you to carry it in your breast pocket, just like a normal pen.
As well as being used by medical professionals, the Nitecore MT06MD is also great for anyone who appreciates a compact flashlight. The neutral colour rendering of the LED in particular will appeal to torch lovers.
