Description
The rechargeable Petzl IKO head torch is perfect for outdoor athletes. It weighs 90 grams and has a light output of up to 350 lumens with the included batteries. With the Core battery it can provide you with 500 lumens! Because the battery is located at the back of the head, the weight is evenly distributed over the head. The patented AIRFIT head band is extremely thin, very comfortable and stays in place. The reflective head band makes sure that you will also be visible from behind. With the cord you can adjust it to size.
Versatility of the PETZL IKO
This head torch can be worn in many different ways. You can, for instance, carry it on your head, over a helmet or around your neck. You can, of course, also secure the head torch on a tent peg or a tree. When you combine it with its storage case, you can even use it as a lantern. You can easily fold it to make sure it will always fit inside your bag.
Modes for the Petzl IKO
The Petzl IKO is enhanced with 7 LED lights. As such you will always have the perfect beam close. The head torch contains the following modes:
Max: 350 lumens, (500 lumens with the Core battery), burn time approx. 2 hours
Standard: 100 lumens, burn time of approx. 8 hours
Max burn time: 6 lumens, burn time of approx. 100 hours
This head torch can also be used with three AAA batteries. The PETZL IKO also works with the Core rechargeable battery, you can purchase it separately. You can easily charge the light via the micro-USB port. The head torch will notice which energy source is being used and will adjust the output accordingly.
