Description
1/7/22 – This is an original WW1 production Gewehr bayonet. The bayonet is dated 1915 on the spine, along with proof stamps and a maker stamp at the base of the blade. The sawback blade is in great condition with some mild surface patina throughout and no signs of sharpening. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. Typical patina throughout the hand guard and pommel. The scabbard has patina throughout as well but no dents or excessive wear. The leather frog is maker stamped on the back and completely in tact.
