4/26/22 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1917. The gun is “United States Property” marked and has the proper military acceptance proof. This entire gun has been refinished and parkerized. It has a replaced WW2-era 1911A1 main spring housing and comes with a WW2-era High Standard barrel. There is very little actual finish loss, but there are areas with tiny pitting under the parkerized finish throughout. Comes with excellent wood grips and a period-correct two-tone magazine. Excellent bore.
