Description
5/12/22 – This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the German police force in the 1920’s. It is all matching (except for the firing pin) and has the proper police attributes such as an added police sear safety, a “SP. Bn. 888.” police unit marking on the front strap, and comes with a police arsenal-numbered magazine (not matching). No chamber date. It has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. Most of the wear is on both grip straps, but there is also minor muzzle wear and minor wear on the side plate and side rails. Comes with very nice wood grips – the left is un-numbered, the right is numbered and matching. There is a light scuff in the bottom right corner of the right panel. Excellent bore with strong rifling.
