7/22/22 – This is a nice example of a Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. It is all matching, has an added police sear safety, and has a police “Eagle L” proof on the right side of the slide. It has retained roughly 70% of its bluing. The majority of the wear is on the grip strips, where the finish loss is obvious. There is also minor wear on the side plate, side rails, and around the muzzle. Comes with excellent un-numbered wood grips and a mismatched Haenel police magazine with a police eagle proof. The bore has strong rifling with some minor freckling in the grooves.
