10/28/22 – This is a complete, army-issued Walther P.38 rig with holster and spare magazine.It’s a second variation example, made in September of 1941.All matching numbers and original throughout, with E/359 on the small parts and grips.The high-polish blue has a nice plum tone to it on much of the pistol, and about 92-93% of it remains.There’s high edge wear on the muzzle and both sides of the slide, and some minor pitting on the left side of the slide.Minty bore and good mechanics.Excellent brown grips with no cracks or chips.The listing includes one ‘jvd’ mag and one marked ‘P.38v’.It’s completed by an original 1941 hardshell holster.The leather is firm and the stitching is intact, but there’s some wear/fading.’CWW’ maker marked.
