Description
12/16/22 – This is an original 1943 dated hard shell style P.38 holster from WW2. The back leather is maker stamped, dated, waffen proofed, and P.38 stamped. The waffen proof is a weakly struck stamp, where only part of the wing and WaA is visible. The leather is firm with minimal pliability. There’s surface wrinkling and scuffing mostly near the toe of leather and on the closure strap. The top of the lid also has some surface cracking and wrinkling but all of this is surface wear. The interior leather shows some aging and use wear as well. The stitching is all tight and original.
