Description
12/6/24 – This is a nice example of a Remington Rand 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1944. It was sold to the American public through the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP). It comes with its CMP Pelican-style case and three post-war magazines. The gun has a replaced barrel. Most of the finish is gone with even thinning throughout. What looks like a minor casting flaw on the left side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips. Excellent bore.
