7/12/22 – This is a beautiful and hard-to-find Colt .357 Mag revolver, sometimes referred to as the “pre-Python”.One of only ~15,000 produced, this one was made in 1955 and is in fantastic condition, with just a turn line on the cylinder and a hint of muzzle wear.This one comes with the original box, as well as the original, matching test target.The Colt archive letter states this one was sent to a sporting goods company in Philadelphia, and has a 6in barrel. The box is structurally intact with common wear and tear at the corners.The grips have sharp checkering and minor edge wear.Nice, smooth action.
