Description
8/31/22 – This is an excellent example of a Colt Model 1911. It has a WW1 slide and frame but they have obviously been parkerized. It also has a WW2-era High Standard barrel. Some of the small parts have been replaced, such as the main spring housing and the hammer. The entire gun has been professionally restored and refinished. As a result, the gun has a really nice parkerized finish. It has retained virtually all of its finish with a few light scratches on the left side and some tiny dings on the right. Comes with a set of excellent WW2-era grips and a WW2-era “R” marked magazine. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with minor pitting throughout.
