2/3/23 – This is a matching and original commercial Mauser C96 from 1918-19.The bluing is original throughout, rating at 80-85% with most of the wear on the barrel and side rails.There’s also some notable patina in a few areas.Matching numbers throughout, including the grips.The bore has strong rifling and is generally shiny but there’s a little frost and freckling in the grooves.The left grip panel is stamped with initials, and the right panel has initials carved into it.Not sure the significance of either one.
