5/31/24 – This is a very nice example of a Mauser HSC sold in the commercial market in 1943. The gun is all matching, has the proper “Eagle N” commercial proofs, and lacks any Nazi military acceptance proof. It has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is significant thinning. There is also very minor wear around the muzzle, very tiny freckling on both sides of the slide, and a few very light scratches here and there. Comes with minty wood grips and one period-correct magazine. The bore is mint.
