7/28/22 – This is an early Springfield 1903 from 1907 with early SA barrel from 1905.It has a correct, early stock with high hump and W.E.S inspection cartouche and the early-style P on the wrist.Also correctly has no retaining clips for the handguard.The finish on the rifle is rough with patina in most areas but is original throughout.The stock has dings and handling wear, with a thin surface crack on the underside where it connects to the buttplate.The bore has decent rifling but frost and wear throughout.
