4/26/19 – This is an original early WW2 production rifle strap / sling. We’ve seen these on both the M1 Garand as well as model 1903 rifles. The leather strap has minor wrinkling but overall no severe cracking. There are a few small cracks in the leather near the fastening holes, but this is relatively minor. No maker stamps or dates that we can see.
