Description
5/11/22 – This is an original WW2 production K98 Dress / Parade bayonet. The bayonet has been custom engraved or etched on one side. Likely given as a gift or presentation for a soldier / veteran during WW2. The engraving is beautiful depicting a transport truck and airplanes. Perhaps this was given to a member of the NSKK or Reichsbahn. The blade is in excellent condition throughout with some mild scabbard wear. The leather stopper is still intact. The handle & hilt is also excellent with a sharp diamond pattern and polished metal. Comes with an original scabbard that has some mild finish loss, and a brown leather frog.
