Date Added: 3/19 – This is an interesting SS PP that I took in on consignment.It showed up at the Lville gun show.It is in the correct serial number range for an SS contract gun, and in fact has a correct, spine numbered matching magazine.The engraving is certainly not factory, but looks like it was done a long time ago.The consignor and I agree that it was probably embellished by the German who was issued the gun, or by the GI who captured it.Either way it is an interesting, historical piece.I believe the finish was silver at some point, but since then has been corroded.
