Description
4/15/22 – This is a WW1-Era P14 rifle manufactured by ERA and chambered in .303 British. This is the British version of the American Eddystone M1917 chambered in .30-06. This gun has British proofs throughout, but was likely reworked at some point, as evidenced by the re-numbered bolt (not matching) and asterisk markings here and there. Import mark on the left side of the receiver. The gun is in fair condition overall. There is thinning and spotty brown patina on virtually all of the metal parts. Spotty oxidation and pin-pricking covering the butt plate. The wood stock is pretty beat-up with noticeable dents and scratches throughout. The bore has decent rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
