12/7/22 – This is an excellent example of a fairly rare US Property-marked Colt Match Target pistol, manufactured in 1942.It is all matching, has the proper military cross-canon cartouche on the left side of the frame, and has the proper “GHD” inspector initials on the right side of the frame. This model waspurported to be shipped and used at West Point for officers training. It is in excellent condition overall, retaining about 95% of its original high polish finish. There is just some very minor wear around the muzzle and on the high edges in general. Some small spots of discoloration here and there. Some light spotty wear on the front strap. Fitted with a set of excellent original brown plastic grips and comes with one proper two-tone magazine. Mint bore.
