Description
2/7/23 – This is a fantastic example of an all matching and original Nazi Mauser K98 from 1940.The receiver is ’27’ coded, denoting Erma factory manufacture. (A rare and desirable maker). All numbered parts are matching, including the butt plate and handguard, and even down to the screws. The stock is numbered both internally and externally to match. Butt plate is thin which is very common for the K98 but the bluing is very good to excellent on all other metal parts.Stock is in excellent condition with faint waffenamts as it has likely been sanded lightly. Above the waffen stamp is an L meaning this rifle was issued to the Luftwaffe.Again all markings on the stock are faint due to light sanding.Strong, shiny bore.Original cleaning rod.
