2/28/23 -This is a rare French Mauser P.38 manufactured in 1946. It has a rare “L” block serial number. This one has no serial numbers, but does have French proofs on the barrel. It comes with excellent post-war grips and a proper magazine. It has retained roughly 85% of its finish. There is spotty, scratchy wear on both sides of the slide, on the barrel, and around the muzzle. Minor wear and freckling on the front strap. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
