11/20/24 – This is a gorgeous example of a 1934 Mauser that was issued to the Germa Army.This gun would have been produced just before the factory switched over to HSC production, around 1940 or so.It is Eagle/N proofed which helps to determine the date.It is also Nazi test proofed on the back left side of the frame and Eagle/655 proofed, indicating it was issued to the German Army.These guns are fairly rare with an estimate of only ~8,000 procured by the army.The original finish covers about 97% of the gun in a nice high-polish finish.The high edges at back and front of slide show minor thinning, and there’s some rub wear on the trigger guard.Mint bore, and grip is nearly as nice.
