3/11/22 – This is a very nice example of a Hi Standard Model H-D Military sold in the commercial market in 1946. Since this is the commercial version, it does not have the cross-canon military cartouche on the right side of the frame. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition, retaining about 94% of its original high polish finish. Generally, there is very minor wear around the muzzle and high edges of the slide and barrel. Some very light scratches along the barrel as well. There is some splotchy discoloration on the back strap. Very minor thinning and one handling mark on the front strap. There are a few dots of discoloration on the left side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips and one proper magazine. The bore is stone-mint.
