12/1/21 – This is a beautiful example of an IBM M1 Carbine issued to the US military in March-May of 1944. The gun is in beautiful condition, because it has been arsenal refurbished. An adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug were added, the stock was replaced, and several of the small internal parts were upgraded. It does have an IBM barrel. The gun comes with a very nice post-war wood crate (serialized to match the gun), a magazine pouch, five 30-rd magazines, a green canvas sling, and an M4 bayonet with scabbard. Overall, the gun is in beautiful condition, retaining virtually all of its new finish. There are just a few tiny handling marks on the barrel. The stock is in near-mint condition. The bore is mint – shiny with perfect rifling.
