12/1/21 – This is a very nice example of an Inland M1 Carbine issued to the US military in 1944. A full parts list with markings is included with the photographs. Overall, it is in excellent condition, retaining virtually all of its parkerized finish. The bolt is also parkerized. There is just some minor wear around the muzzle. The gun was equipped with an adjustable rear sight and bayonet lug, most likely for use during the Korean War. There is a very faint “P” proof on the wrist of the stock. Both the stock and handguard are excellent and appear to have been sanded. There are some tiny white dots of paint here and there. The gun comes with a Model 8A1 bayonet, scabbard, period-correct magazine, and canvas mag pouch (a couple of holes in the back). The bore is mint.
