Description
11/4/22 – This is an original WW2 production US M1 Helmet. The helmet shell is made by McCord and stamped “278” on the interior. The shell features fixed bales and a front folded seam. A canvas chinstrap is still attached and in great condition. The shell has typical exterior and interior patina, and no dents or major issues. The interior shell is maker stamped by Westinghouse and has a few imperfections and chipped / cracking leather bands as shown. Great overall condition and a nice WW2 representative example.
