Description
11/7/22 – This is an original 1942 dated Italian Carcano M1891 bayonet. The bayonet is in excellent condition with a beautiful blade that retains almost all of the original finish. There are a few mild dings along the edge, but no signs of sharpening and the only wear is some mild scabbard rub wear. The hand guard is maker stamped and dated “C. Gnutti 1942”. The other side of the hand guard is stamped “RA02801”. The wood handles are excellent as well with on cracks or chips. The scabbard is also in excellent overall condition with no major issues and very nice metal and leather body. The leather is maker stamped and dated “S.A. Rejna 1942”.
