5/29/20 – This is a near-mint Nazi K98 bayonet from 1944 with ‘fnj’ maker mark and WaA519 proofs.The bayonet and scabbard are matching numbers (9167e).The bayonet blade almost is in mint condition with only a very small amount of finish loss closer to the point.There is light patina and surface wear throughout the pommel and upper area of the handle.The scabbard has a black leather frog that is ‘gfg’ maker marked and 1942 dated.Scabbard finish shows some wear but no major defect, and tip is waffen stamped.
