3/30/22 – This is a minty example of a Springfield Armory M1 Garand issued to the US military in 1945. The receiver dates to February of 1945 – the barrel is properly SA marked and dated 2-45. The internal parts are properly SA marked as well. There are no visible proofs on the stock, so it has been replaced. Comes with an excellent green canvas sling. The gun is in minty condition, retaining almost all of its finish – there are just some very light scuffs on the barrel and on the receiver. Minty wood stock with very minor handling marks here and there. The bore is near-mint. Throat reading – 0. Muzzle reading – 0.
