5/12/22 – This is a near-mint example of a Smith and Wesson Model 28-2 “Highway Patrolman” revolver, chambered in .357 Magnum and was manufactured in 1970-71. 4″ barrel. It comes with a period-correct box that is numbered but does not match the gun. The gun itself has retained more than 98% of its finish. There is a hint of muzzle wear, hints of wear on the high edges of the cylinder, and a light roll mark on the cylinder. Some tiny handling marks here and there. Very nice case-hardening on the hammer and trigger. Comes with minty wood grips. Mint bore. The cylinder is tight and the action is smooth. Mint bore.
