3/16/22 – This is a near-mint example of a Colt Commando Revolver issued to the US military in 1942. It is all matching, the cylinder is tight, and the action is very smooth. It comes as a rig with a nice period-correct un-marked brown leather holster. The gun has retained about 98% of its original parkerized finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and front edge of the frame, hints of wear on the high edges of the cylinder, and a very light roll mark on the cylinder. Comes with excellent period-correct reddish bakelite grips. The bore is excellent – shiny with very strong rifling and some light frosting near the muzzle.
