4/8/21 – This is an original SA dagger by a fairly uncommon maker, Clemen & Jung. The dagger is all original from WW2, and comes with the original scabbard. The blade has nice cross graining and some mild wear as shown. Mostly scabbard scratching and typical spotty oxidation, but no deep pitting. The reverse of the hand guard appears to be marked “Nrh” which is likely a unit designation. The wood handle has two hairline cracks, one on each side. They both come up from the hand guard about an inch. the scabbard has some wear throughout the brown paint and the ball on the tip of the scabbard is slightly dented.
