2/10/22 – This is an all matching and original example of an Erfurt Kar 98 rifle from 1917.These are becoming increasingly difficult to find in said condition.Matching numbers throughout, including the stock, buttplate, trigger group, bolt, rear sight, receiver, bands, barrel and front sight.The finish is original throughout and shows general thinning and patina but this gun has that authentic used and carried look to it.Dings and scrapes all over the stock but no cracks or chips.Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout.Only detractor is that the rear sight is missing the push button.
