10/20/22 – This is a scarce Walther Model 1, which was Walther’s first blowback operated pistol, and one of only 30,000 produced. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” proofs. It has retained about 90% of its finish. While there isn’t a lot of finish loss, there is noticeable pitting and light brown patina covering virtually the entire gun. Minor wear around the muzzle and around the high edges. Comes with a set of very nice period-correct grips and one proper magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there are areas of minor pitting.
