10/31/22 – This is a great example of an original Simson Police Luger Magazine from the Pre-WW2 era. The nickeled tube has retained a majority of its finish with some minor use wear along its edges and a few spots of finish chipping toward the base. The magazine bottom is in great condition with minor signs of wear throughout and small patches of pinpricking on its face. There is an eagle 6 proof marking, a police numbering mark “H 1636”, “I” marking, and a “S” within a triangle, within a circle mark that we are unable to identify. The spring is strong and functional.
