4/5/22 – This is a nice example of a Spanish Eibar / Ruby pistol issued to the French military in the early 1900’s. The gun is all matching and has an “AA” proof on the left side of the frame and French star proofs on the base of the frame. The gun comes as a rig with a nice brown leather holster and one proper magazine. The gun has retained roughly half of its original finish. The majority the finish loss is on both grip straps, but there is spotty wear along the slide, concentrated mostly around the high edges and top. There are a few scratches on the right side of the slide. There is a name extremely lightly scratched into the right side of the frame and a tiny floral pattern scratched into the left side of the slide. Comes with slightly worn wood grips. The bore has decent rifling, but there are some areas with tiny pits here and there.
