6/17/22 – This is a beautiful Springfield Armory M1 Garand from 1945.It’s a CMP-released example and is all correct and original throughout.The finish is excellent overall with most of the wear on the gas tube and front edges.The original stock is in great shape with NFR inspectors mark and crossed cannons cartouche, as well as circle P proof on stock.Both the receiver serial and the barrel date to January of 1945.Springfield parts throughout.Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout.Muzzle is a 4, TE is a 3.The listing includes an M5A1 bayo with an M8A1 scabbard.Comes with the CMP hard case and certificate.
