Description
3/26/21 – This is an excellent Springfield M1 Garand. The receiver dates to 1942 and the barrel is dated 1951. This gun was likely reworked for the Korean war. A peep sight was added to the rear sight. “NM” mark on the op rod. It looks like it has been re-parkerized. It has retained most of its finish with minor handling marks. There is a “P” proof on the wrist of the stock. The stock is very nice with minor dings and scratches here and there. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking in the grooves.
