Description
7/7/22 – This is a stunning example of a Colt Model 1917 revolver issued to the US military during WW1. It is all matching, has the proper military acceptance proof on the left side of the frame, and is “United States Property” marking on the underside of the slide. The bluing on this gun is exceptional – it is likely the best we’ve ever offered. While there is next-to-no actual finish loss, there are some areas of light freckling here and there, most noticeable along the barrel. Comes with excellent matching-numbered wood grips. The bore is stone-mint.
