1/10/23 – This is an original and desirable Winchester 1917 trench shotgun bayonet from WW1. The bayonet blade is in fair condition with some dark surface patina and spotty oxidation throughout each side of the blade. Amongst the discoloration are some small areas of pitting. The blade is stamped US with an ordnance stamp on one side, and stamped 1917 with a Winchester logo on the other side. The wood handle has some mild surface wear but no major issues. The metal hilt has surface patina and dark discoloration throughout. Comes with an original scabbard with worn leather and natural aging throughout.
